AAS PAAS on a winning streak!
Dezeen announced Winners of their 2019 Sustainable Design Award with 52 products and projects making the overall shortlist, the Sustainable Design category of the Dezeen awards was narrowed down to six finalists – Jaipur Rugs being one of them.
Weaver-designer Manju Devi from Dhanota village made it to the list for her Manchaha rug AAS PAAS. Manju is inspired by her surroundings, like her chulha and traditionally painted walls. She has brought to life the patterns formed by cow dung covering the floors and walls of her village homes.
